Out and back
This was the first route I ran in Prielbrusye. There is a steep climb at the very beginning, but after that, the route levels out and the runnable section begins. Mount Elbrus is visible ahead, and looking back reveals a panorama of the Bzhedukh and Ullukara mountains. Notable spots include the 'Sand Castles', the 'Valley of Gophers', Irik Waterfall, and Rumyantsev Waterfall.
Notes
- The route is entirely on trails.
- Expect a long, steep climb at the beginning before it levels out.
- Be particularly careful during the ascent near the Sand Castles.
