An enjoyable route with beautiful panoramas towards Kahiani Peak. Best done in late summer and early autumn when free of snow. Starts with a steep climb from Narzanov Meadow to the Kogutayka river valley, after which the terrain levels out.
Offers sweeping views of Kogutay, Elbrus, and Cheget peaks. The descent towards Cheget Meadow passes through alpine meadows into pine forests with views of Terskol village.
Notes
- Can be shortened by starting from Narzanov Meadow (approx. 14 km loop).
- Water is available along nearly the entire route.
- Traverse to the left before the final push to the peak.
- The route is marked with blue markers.
- Trekking poles are required.
